Domestic:
When referring to the services listed below we define “business day” as Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 to 17h00 – excluding any Public Holidays.
- Sameday Courier (SDC)
Collect as soon as possible and lodge on the next available flight to destination (major centres only). Deliver within 2 hours of the flight landing. - Dawn Courier (DWC)
Collect by 17h00 and deliver the following business day by 09h00 in major centres. - Overnight Express (ONC)
Collect by 17h00 and deliver the following business day by 10h30 in major centres. - Next Day Service (NXD)
Collect by 17h00 and deliver the following business day – or the business day thereafter. - Economy Service (ECO)
Collect by 17h00 and deliver within 2 to 3 business days. - Saturday
Collect or deliver on a Saturday before 12h00. - After Hours
Collections or deliveries done outside of business trading hours. - Public Holidays
Collections or deliveries done on a public holiday. - Embassies and Consulates
Collections and deliveries to and/or from an embassy or consulate will attract a surcharge. - Special Surcharges
Collections and deliveries to and from all of the following will attract a surcharge: Plots, Farms, Mines, Power Stations, Trust Areas, Townships, Game Reserves, National Parks, Hospitals and Chain stores.
International:
Services provided through our International Division, OCS Worldwide
- International Courier Documents
Collect by 17h00 and deliver within time frame specified on International Service Standards Matrix. - International Courier Non-Documents
Collect by 17h00 and deliver within time frame specified on International Service Standards Matrix. Additional delays may be experienced at customs depending on the contents of the parcel. All such consignments must be accompanied by a Commercial Invoice, which must be attached to the OCS waybill. An example of a Commercial Invoice may be downloaded by clicking here. - International Airfreight (for heavier shipments over 10 kgs)
Collect by 17h00 and deliver within time frame quoted. This service may be specified as door-to-door (more costly) or door-to-airport (more cost-effective). All such consignments must be accompanied by a Commercial Invoice, which must be attached to the OCS waybill. An example of a Commercial Invoice may be downloaded by clicking here.
Note: International consignments must use OCS waybills and not Cornerstone waybills. To book a collection for an international assignment, phone 0861 803 080 and quote your Cornerstone account number (you will get this from your Cornerstone Account Executive).
